The City of Dallas Code Compliance Department consists of three divisions: Neighborhood Code, Nuisance Abatement, and Consumer Health. Code Compliance ensures city codes, and ordinances are maintained, so Dallas continues to be a clean and safe city.

The Social Services & Support Program provides emergency assistance to individuals and families who have experienced a temporary financial crisis. Financial services are based on the availability of funds. For assistance, you must either call to schedule an appointment with a caseworker or submit an application to be seen.

Dallas 311 allows City of Dallas residents and visitors to request City services. The 311 call center operates 24/7 and is staffed by customer service representatives who are trained to receive calls from residents, actively listen to their concerns and, based upon their situation, determine which service request would best suit their needs.

The Neighborhood Police Team is a specialized group designed to be a liason between the Police Department and the community. The team assists in starting community Crime Watch groups, attends Crime Watch and neighborhood ssociation meetings, participates in community events and functions, assists in the resolution of community concerns, and conducts special projects and operations.
